Hey guys im new here, and this might be a stupid question but I just bought football manager 2011 handheld for the iphone. Does anyone know if the same tactics and player buying advice are the same or what have you? I know that the player pool, options, available teams, etc. are now all condensed.
Yes, they should be the same I think.

I never had the Handheld version to be certain, but from what I know it's just the same version with limitations like seasons cap, no 3D match view and smaller player database.
its pretty much the same but smaller, I play it everyday im on the move sat on the train etc. basically just a smaller database but I recommend you chose just the league you want to manage in at the beginning, then it will load pretty much all the players from that country and then the best of the rest from everywhere else around the world and all the best youth players. tactics are the same but just less to chose from and the training is really basic but effective. Theirs no staff searching or anything like that you just have the best from the start but you can upgrade facilities for example. You can blast through a season in a day as well which is a nice change also so you might end up having a few careers going in different countries at once :] AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the players database info such as current and potential abilty is almost the same to the full computer version, so if a player is good in FM 11 on the computer, hes going to be good on FM Handheld so all the advice on who to sign on here is just as helpful for you :D if you need any more help just ask on here.
