What do you think the best way is to get a lower league team to get promoted consecutively?

Simple question really just how do you think the best way is to do it?
Quite a mouthful for a simple question :P

My advice:

- Get rid of dead wood, as in really poor players compared to the rest of the league.

- Get the best staff you can afford and keep adding more as the board allows; offer them yearly contracts to be able to change them at the end of each season.

- Sign fast players with decent stamina who could play at least 3 years (so avoid the ones close to retirement). Speed and endurance is usually enough to get you through the lower leagues.

- Try to get young players with high potential from higher leagues on loan.

- Choose a formation and stick to it.

- Try to keep your squad happy with team-talks, press conferences and individual interactions.
Another advise is to go with a 4-3-3 formation. This formation only requires 6 different types of players (ST, MC, DC, DL, DR, GK), which allows you to greatly reduce your wage budget as you will need only a few backup players. 4-5 STs, 4-5 MCs, 3-4 DCs and a DL a DR and a DL/R, and a goalie or two (I usually only have one goalie as in FM my GK is injured maybe 1 match a season on average and I can do with a youth-goalie there ;). As this can reduce your payroll with the salary of 5 players this will allow you to use that spare money to obtain better players/staff :) Or just to make sure that your club doesn't go bankrupt.

Additionally, I have found that when attempting consecutive promotions you have to spend tons of time finding the optimal players for your squad, who are not too expensive, want to go to your club and fit your style of play etc etc. Especially if you start with a low-reputation club, it can be a paaiinn in the arse to find players who want to go to your shitty club and play at your shitty stadium :P

That reminds me that it is essential that you pick a club with a decent stadium when deciding which team to play with, as the amount of seats will determine a vast amount of your revenue in the first seasons.

Also, when your club starts to have a fair cash balance, you should start upgrading your facilities immediately, as it will improve your chances of obtaining the signature of a player as well as quicken the progress of your (young) players and improve the quality of regens you will be receiving each year.
Well thanks guys I am trying to get the 'English Hero' achievement on Steam and i'm halfway through my first season with AFC Telford and I am 1st and doing well but when I go to expand my stadium it says 'buy stadium' does that mean I dont own it or something? and also Stam when I try to get a good youngster from another team on loan the team accept but the player doesnt :/
My way of playing lower league teams and have consecutive promotions is to try sign as fast players as a can find, have a goalie with high reflex skill and at least 1 player with heading for the defense all for professional contracts. It worked for me with Eastleigh in England.... well I have to admit I had to stay in league 2 for 3 seasons but I made some stupid decisions so its my bad :)

Yes it means you pay rent to use it.
Thanks for the information azsumnasko and I was thinking that but its ok because my rent is 1 quid a year haha.
How can you link a picture onto here so I can show you my league how it finished?

It's a common phenomenon mate. I think as a general rule you can get youngsters to agree on joining your team only if their team is up to 3 divisions up... unless the player is really poor of course.

Sorry if I may seem really stupid here but I dont really understand the part in your tutorial where it says ''Now you will need to rename the extension for your screenshots from .png to .jpg'' sorry :/ but please can you explain it to me if possible? thanks.
Perhaps open your png file in paint, then resave it as .jpg
