Unhappy players

I am becoming so sick and tired of dealing with players who want to leave for a bigger club and cannot stop whining about it. Even though I tell them that I need them to help the club grow and they agree with me, it usually only takes a week or two for them to forget that and start whining again.
But this players beats it all: Jorge Basualdo (my goalkeeper) has been whining that he wants to leave the club for at least 3 to 4 years, but as he was quite a good goalie I couldn't afford to let him go. And even though he continues to say that he wants to move he decided to sign a new contract...
But now I finally managed to find a good replacement for him and accepted his fiftieth transfer request:

And now instead of being unhappy that he is not allowed to leave, he is now unhappy that I put him on the transfer list AT HIS OWN REQUEST.

Why are my players all lunatics? and does anyone else have similar problems?

This guy has some crazy torn up personality. And 2 weeks ago he was 'alienated because he wants to leave the club' and 'alienated because his transfer request was rejected'.

Lol, split personality, a possible new injury that could be introduced.

He's obviously damaged goods. Get rid of him!

Personally anyone that makes noises about being unhappy at my club then I will do my utmost to sell them on.

As far as i'm concerned i'd much rather make a fair amount of money and lighten up the wage bill than carry a player who doesn't even want to play for me!

I would normally do the same - But this player (and the other complaining players) were far above my team/reputation standard and I needed such players to give me a chance to win the title :p

A few in-game days after posting this I got an offer of around 8m for him from PSV and I let him go
