There's a number of confirmed FM26 features already, such as official Premier League licensing, a vastly improved UI, the introduction of Women's football, more real-life animations and a significant overhaul of the matchday experience.

But we all have our aspirations for FM 2026. We all have our own exciting ideas for what we want to see included/improved.

Having said that, I encourage you to share your wishes for FM 26. No matter how small or big it is, or how ambitious it may be, no idea is a bad idea.

What would you like to see in Football Manager 26? Feel free to share what you want to see added/improved, even if it already suggested.
The ability to introduce the 'dark arts' into your team's play. Not just timewasting, but also feigning injuries to kill time. Booting the ball out of play, delaying restarts. It is frowned upon but it is very much a part of football.

Head Coach roles. While you can effectively make this happen by delegating responsibilities to a Director of Football, why not make this an actual role within the game? No control over transfers, aside from giving opinions or advice on signings & sales, contracts are all sorted for you. You just focus on tactics, training and matchdays.

Will there be an FM Genie Scout for FM26?

That's the plan. But first we must get our hands on Football Manager 26 so we can figure out what has changed, technically speaking.

A little too late for FM26, but in the future I would love to see an option to actually play as a Director of Football. Right now, you can sort of do it by giving all squad responsibilities to your assistant manager and going on holiday on match days, but it would be so much better if you could officially join a club like Real Madrid as a DoF and hire a manager such as Jürgen Klopp, instead of having to use the in-game editor.

You could also add features that allow the DoF to discuss the squad with the manager and warn him when results are poor, similar to how we can warn players when their training ratings or performances aren’t good enough. Or ask him what kind of player is needs and what tactics he wants to play so you can look for the right players etc. managing the head coach and the clubs budgets etc.
a game that works would be nice

i might try it again once they finish it!
I think there are a few features that I wonder how SI has not yet introduced them in the game:

- A player, having the space, trying to dribble the goal-keeper, followed by: a) scoring; b) goalkeeper defends; c) goalkeeper makes a penalty;

- Fouls without the ball, including the possibility of a player being sent off for violent conduct;

- Fouls (offensive and defensive) inside the area, example, during / after a corner:

- Indirect free kicks inside the area;

- Revamp of the team pressing system through different settings of pressing (hybrid, man, space, ball)

- Revamp or upgrade of player treats (why isn't there treats such as "Likes to Press the Opponent" or "Does not Like to Press the Opponent"

- Include a player attribute for pressing (if there is one for Marking...)

- Make the engine of the game much more sensible to player attributes (a player with a passing score of 10 or 12 has to make more errors than a player with a score of 15 or 16)
