CA not correct in Genie Scout?

Hello,

first time im using Genie Scout and I'm a bit confused. I got the following two players rated in GS as 167 CA (Sall) and 170 (Davidson) CA.




When i compare them ingame Sall looks much stronger, having a slight advantage in every attribute.




Can someone explain why GS shows Davidson as higher CA? Thanks

This is where things can get a bit more complicated.

I think it might also be taking into consideration traits, which is not shown here, but traits as I understand them, can add some CA to players despite their attributes remaining the same.

Also note that simply having better attributes does not necessarily means it will be better, given hidden attributes, personality and consistency can also have a say in how good a player really is.

One thing to also check is see thier stats if they have both played, what is their average match rating, assists / goals, personality and pro and cons from report.

Attributes tell you in theory how good the player is, but the rest lets you know if they are able to put those attributes to work once you use them in the field.
