Another variation tweak A2 to lurk at near post
With this variation Psg scored 7 direct corner goals in the Ucl, 10 direct corner goals in the league and 16 assisted from corners in the data hub. With A2 lurking at the near post my cbs scored 4 headed goals in total

The previous variation of A3 at the far post is not effective.
Its difficult to analyse the set pieces as the test was simulated.

Bonus tip: Set some defenders additional training focus to Aerial. I noticed an increase in the heading attributes, especially in under 25 players

The new match engine change:
Added ability for players to control the ball with their head in certain situations to bring the ball down.
This change also affects corner, i dont know if it improves the frequency of goals scored.
In my recent mancity save i noticed a nice flick on from Haaland at the near post to Guehi free at the far post.

My routines still work after the update. 5 corner goals in 7 premier league matches and 2 corner goals in 2 ucl (r16) matches.

The near post and short corner attacking routine is effective especially for better results across all competitions.

In my Recent Liverpool save (all matches played)
16 direct corner goals in the premier league and 8! free kick goals also.
I hired the current tottenham set piece coach Andreas Georgson.

For indirect free kicks, the key attributes for a good taker are : crossing, and high technique.
Free taking attribute is not soo important.

For both corners and free kicks, teams need to have a lot of set piece taker options (left foot and right foot).

In my first season with westham the set piece goals were very few, just 5 corner goals.
In the second season, I had to sign new players, or add more takers.

For defending corners. Height, jumping reach and heading is important, but the keepers command of the area is most important.
