Can't upload individual faces for FM26

I have saved the face I want to use in a folder called faces inside my graphics folder and renamed it the ID and then do what you have to do in the config file and closed the game and it still doesn't work - SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, seems it doesn't work that way anymore.
Looks like the only way would be to go with the packs like DF11

I ran into a similar issue before, and honestly it feels like the game changes these things every version. Sometimes even when you follow all the steps, it just refuses to load custom faces. I ended up reorganizing my folders and cache a few times before it finally worked. It reminded me how small details in setup really matter, kind of placing a table runner — if it’s not positioned the right way, the whole look feels off even though everything is technically there.
