Whats Happening to my U21 team?

During playing the FM26 l have noticed something.

Nothing happens to the U21 even though l have them in my game.

They are in a league (swapped them with Chelsea's U210. But nothing is happening.

I cant arrange friendlies for them .

Any ideas as to why this is happening?
