To "beat" the challenge, you must follow the timeline of Tuchel’s real-world career, moving from underdog status to the pinnacle of world football.
The Journey:
Phase 1: The Underdog. Start at Mainz . You must overachieve on a shoestring budget and qualify for Europe within 3-4 seasons. You must wait till the dortmund job becomes available.

Phase 2: The Tactical Innovator (Dortmund) You must win at least one domestic cup, challenge for the league title and maintain a fierce rivalry with Bayern.

Phase 3: The Star Collector (PSG). The goal here is domestic dominance (the Treble/Quadruple) and reaching a Champions League Final.

Phase 4: The Redemption/European Glory (Chelsea). Join a club mid-season (if possible) or one in "crisis." You must win the Champions League within your first 18 months.

.
The Constraints: No editor
The 2-Year Rule: Tuchel rarely stays at a club longer than 2-3 years. You are encouraged (or forced) to move on or "be sacked" if you have a public falling out with the board.
The Conflict Clause: If the board denies two consecutive "Board Requests" (e.g summer signing targets, or transfer budget), you must resign immediately.

1st season with mainz
have you any other ideas for single club saves? I'm a one man club till the end unless sacked.

I did SV Elversberg 6 season on FM 2024 and won league 2 and lucky CL over Bayern + cups.
I usually stay in a club for 3 seasons max.

For a one club man, save you could promote at least 3 players from the academy or buy young players and use them in the starting lineup.

I always play with youth players.

my Camden save

I want to continue but I got also England job and there is not international football in FM 26 (until march they say).

I'm doing the Berserk data Tavares at the moment with Sampdoria and it looks I will get promotion again.

1st season at Dortmund , (no holiday test)
Rebuilding Dortmund is actually tough, old players, signing a new left back, back up/ starting Cb, DM and AM. Adapting from a 343 to a 4231. ( I used a 343 and flat back op 5 at mainz)
My Dortmund side are barely scoring although, improving after chance creation training.

I lost my first match in the bundesliga but my Dortmund side is currently challenging for the league title.

My Dortmund side was in free fall, dropping points in January and February.
ended the season 4th with 62pts, won the europa Conference League.

Key players in the current Dortmund squad were sold, nmecha, sabitzer, svensson, Aaron Anselino, and the core crop of players were old.
I think the bundesliga is the hardest league, the mid season slump is too frequent.
Most teams play with a back 3, and even why i use Dortmund they struggle to score goals.

The highest points i got with Dortmund was 81 when i used the current best 3430 tactic.
I have played Mainz on the berserk data v2 and got them to the third - no transfers. Won the conference cup.

The last match I have played with reserve squad. I have used the 343 tactics but half way season swap winger for AM and FC. The rest was the same. It was a quick save to test the data so I didn't pay attention to details and use only two formation.

I'm going back to the Sampdoria save for now.
That's impressive, at Bayern i usually get 82, and 79 points. But at Dortmund max points of 76.
Try a Dortmund Test.

From your screen shot bayern and Dortmund under performed based on points
I would have to add new manager because they wouldn't hire me as I have set the lowest coaching attributes.

Definitely they should get more points.

At least they didn't sign any new players. I got 25 mln for transfer and Bayern has 4.5mln, Dortmund 17. It looks like they wouldn't get to many new players this season either.

Recently tested with Dortmund the results were stable, 70 pts winning the bundesliga over bayern 10 pts ahead.
Dortmund was competitive in the Ucl finishing top 8
And runner up in the DFB pokal.
Before I started the mainz challenge, I added key staff in the menu option, i think it affected results as smaller teams had full backroom staff.
For example, in the option to add key staff, Psg and Bayern got a random set piece coach.

3 test with Dortmund
Test 1: 81pts 1st
Test 2: 66 pts 3rd DFB pokal final loss
Test 3: 79 pts 1st

Basic 4231
My new training approached inspired by Zaz
No pitch or gym work
No pitch or gym work
No pitch or gym work
Normal intensity
Normal intensity
3 rest session after match day. ( i didn't adjust for Ucl matches)

With this approach I had 6 players play over 40 games. Scored more than before and defended better
Results were much better.
I used normal intensity at 75% fitness condition as i wanted the players to train more.

4th test with Dortmund: 69 pts 2nd place
DFB pokal winners
Similar goal output.
In the first 15 games BvB had 39 points out of a possible 45 pts only 3 draws.
But as they went further in the DFB pokal. It affected results. As I didn't adjust the training schedule.
Bvb lost on the final day, could have been 72 pts
Bayern won the league with 70 pts.
