Hello FM Scout Team,

First of all, thank you for being the best resource for the FM community.

I would like to suggest the implementation of an Official Dark Mode for the website and forums. While the current design is iconic, many users spend hours reading guides and scouting players, often in low-light environments.

Why this would be great:

Reduced Eye Strain: Better for long reading sessions.

Modern Aesthetic: Fits the look of modern UI standards.

Accessibility: Easier for users with light sensitivity.

Even a simple toggle between "Light" and "Dark" versions would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for the community.

I completely agree I need to introduce a dark theme.

In fact, I'm planning to do a UI revamp this year. And a dark theme is on my list.

However, I can't make any promises about a time frame at this point.

Any other suggestions regarding the interface or features you'd like to see, feel free to share.

since I have you here, I’d like to ask something unrelated to the topic: When was the last time the percentage distribution used to calculate players' current and potential ability (CA/PA) based on their attributes updated?

You can achieved dark skin view of any page by simply downloading an add on to you browser.



If you comes to CA/PA is it in the GScout?
When was the last time the percentage distribution used to calculate players' current and potential ability (CA/PA) based on their attributes updated?
It's not clear to me what you're referring to. PA is a value that doesn't change and isn't calculated. CA is supposed to reflect a player's attributes. The formula for that has certain weighted attributes which are adjusted for different positions. You can find those weights in the pre-game editor.
There's also RCA which is exactly what the attributes reflect, but it's a balancing game between CA and attributes being in sync. For example, if you increase the attributes with an editor but don't change the CA, the attributes will start dropping quickly until they match the CA. In similar fashion, If you increase the CA but don't change the attributes, then the attributes will start rising.
