As above, I edit the second nationality or years trained and when I press continue the game crashes.
I'll investigate tonight.
The issue occurs when you edit just 1 of those 3 things or all at once?
And does it happen on a pure player or a player/staff type of player?
I ran some tests. Editing secondary nationalities and years trained are working fine for me, no crashes.
Any other edits you're making? Is FMLE the only editor you're using?
Thanks for your reply. I tested one thing at the time and multiple things at the time. They are pure players.

Now tonight I tried on a back up file and everything worked well. So probably my save file was corrupted.

Hmm, after playing a little bit more my save crashed again. Would it be helpfull if I send my save file to you?

I can't debug game crashes, so I wouldn't know what to look for in that regard.

What I can do is test edits and check if anything crashes on continue or save. And it's important to know the steps to replicate an issue.

For example, there's currently a bug with freeze attributes but only for player/staff type of player which I fixed today and will be included in the next update.

I haven't had any other bug reports that caused a crash.
I understand mate. Thanks for looking into it and all the work you do for the community.

I found a way to change one thing at the time, close the editor, continu the game and than save. It was tediousm but I could continue my save.

I do have to say it is a very big database with a lot of leagues. Perhaps that makes it unstable. Don't know, I hope you can learn something with the feedback.
I've opened your save, holidayed for a month, didn't have any crash. I mean, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to investigate here.

If you get a crash, I need to know the exact steps to be able and replicate it before I can pinpoint the issue and ultimately fix whatever is causing it.

If those things you changed one at a time would be applied all at once, is that combo causing a crash? I need more info on which actions to test.
I think you misunderstood my post. I just wanted to thank you and give some feedback. Perhaps it could help you improve the product.

The exact steps what caused a crash varied, so I understand you can't do much more.

When I used the editor I changed a second nationality of one of my players, to get them registered. I pressed save in the editor. When I went back into my save. It crashed when I continued or saved. It did not happen all the time so I understand that when we can't replicate the problem it's impossible to solve it.

So, to be clear, thank you for creating the tools and all the replies and please consider this topic closed.

Keep up the good work!!!
I'm always listening and trying to improve FMLE. It's a passion project for me and I really care about its users having peace of mind when making changes.

Even though I thoroughly test each new feature before pushing it live, there can be edge cases I might not always think of. That is why I ask for exact steps and conditions, because the obvious steps are normally tested.

I'm planning to take a step back from feature updates next month and focus on testing more edge cases for every entity.
I was able to find a potential issue when adding new clauses and bonuses to a contract. I've already prepared a fix that will be included in my next update this week.
