"FM26 is open, but your save isn't loaded"

Whenever I try to "load data" all I get is a message that FM26 is open, but your save isn't loaded

The error message is self-explanatory.
You need to load your save in the game first. Then hit the Load Data button on FMLE.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. I have loaded my save game, obviously.

It was working before, but no longer. Now only with this error message.

What platform? Maybe there was a minor patch that wasn't announced by SI and I didn't notice.

What changed if not the game? And does it work on another save?

It's also worth trying to right-click the FMLE shortcut icon on your desktop and select "run as administrator". See if that makes a difference.

Nothing changed, aside from progressing further in my save. The save is originally from FM23 and it's quite large, a little over 1GB. I don't recall the size when FMLE worked, maybe it was under and stopped working once I hit 1GB? I don't know, a guess.

I am trying file verification. Then I will try new save.

And I checked an older version of my existing save, where it worked, and that save was also over 1GB so it isn't that either.

I can't think of a possible reason. I'll need to get a copy of that save file to properly investigate. If you can upload it on mega.nz and pass me a link via pm.

If we can't find a fix, can I just a refund for my license because I've bought it and can't use it, currently.

You sent the save file less than 24 hours ago and I hadn't had the chance to look at it until this morning. I've found the issue; there was a hard-coded cap of 2100 for the in-game year in the load detection, and your save is in 2102. It's a quick fix and I'll push an update by tonight. Licenses are non-refundable in any case, but you'll be back up and running soon.
