"FM26 is open, but your save isn't loaded"

Whenever I try to "load data" all I get is a message that FM26 is open, but your save isn't loaded

The error message is self-explanatory.
You need to load your save in the game first. Then hit the Load Data button on FMLE.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. I have loaded my save game, obviously.

It was working before, but no longer. Now only with this error message.
