Sorry i tried to install the FMScout updates to play from the next season. im obviously doing at least one thing wrong.
Im on a Mac. ive downloaded the 'normal real fixture & results (1-6-2026)'
I dropped all the .fmf files into my Mac, in the Football Manager 26 folder, in the editor data folder.
I also, in trying to work out why its not working, also dropped the _June_1-15-29_2026.fmf file from the start dates folder, into the same editor data folder.
I then am told to start a game, and include Seychelles so I can choose the Seychelles season start. I dont have any option for Seychelles though, the only African nations are Egypt and South Africa.
However there is now a World Cup start option of 1 May. However on starting a game using that option I can see that whatever I have done isnt correct, as the results are not real, and therefore Maritimo in the Portuguese second division are mid table with 5 games to go with no chance of promotion. starting instead with Celtic in the SPFL, and again it doesnt have the real results and the table is different.
what am I doing wrong?
