Sorry if this is in the wrong forum guys...

Does anyone know why they havent reproduced FM for the PS3 or Xbox? Surely this would be a big seller on consoles?
The official reply by Miles Jacobson, SI boss:

"SEGA did a huge study last year to try and work out exactly why it was that the console version didn’t work out. Obviously control scheme was right up there, but also up there was that people don’t like having the TV in their living room taken over for six hour session. They’d much rather be sitting on a laptop while they watch something on TV. So, no, we’re not looking at going back to home consoles any time soon."
Muchos Thanks my good man. Shame really but i can see his point

Personally, I prefer sitting on a couch with my laptop on my lap, but I can imagine that laptops also make great seats. ;)

Control scheme and TV occupancy are also exactly the reasons why I would probably not buy FM for my PS3. I am usually already annoyed that I cannot watch a match and play FIFA at the same time :P luckily, I have FM for such situations :)

Hahaha. Touché!

To be honest, I don't think I'd use it more then I use the PC version, mainly for this reason. How else could I watch Glee... I mean, erm.... The Wire whilst playing FM!?
It just doesnt work on a console. My PS3 is for Fifa 12 and my laptop is for FM.
I couldnt do it anyway FM is designed to play in the background as you play or watch something else I couldnt imagine spending 6 hours straight staring a my tv screen it would just be boring

The other thing is that the games cost about £20-£30 on PC but will be £40 on console so an expensive outlay for the same game
