Cannot Connect to Steam or being told Steam is unavailable

Completely exit from the Steam client.
Go to C:\Program Files\Steam (or the Steam directory that was specified during installation).
Locate ClientRegistry.blob and rename this file to ClientRegistryOld.blob.
Restart Steam to allow the file to be recreated.

Update:
You might need to apply the latest patch 12.0.3 which was released on October 27. Steam will need to be set to ONLINE mode to automatically update your game with the patch.

Hello i have this problem and i have done for weeks!! Please can you tell me how i can get the game working on mac. because your instructions seem to be for windows, i really need help on this, or it will be £30 no point in spending, please helpp!!!

Oh sorry i mean, it always says 'steam is too busy for your request' or something + when i try and load the game it does this 'validating files stuff, please can you help me stam?!!!?? :[

can someone help me please i have this problem on my manager game i bid for a player in pound £ for exampel 15mil it comes up at right hand corner at comments wen u are about to bit it comes up with 500 mil yor bid over all is am not biding that much am only biding 15 mil orany think i try even at 1 mil comes up wiith houndred of milion and bilion in bid so i just let it go an click on continue yor bid has bin accepted at 300 mil i only bid 18 mil for a player can any help how to change it please
