I just began the preseason for the 2nd season of my Juventus team. I have totally reshaped the squad, only 6 of the original members are still on my team. I feel that I have a very solid team and should win the title. I just bought mascherano and tevez, who I assumed would completely consume the rest of my funds. This is far from the case however, since I sold so many overpaid players I still have a transfer budget of over 30 mil! I am not asking for player reccomendations. I don't want to get rid of anyone else but I don't really want to add another player, I already am going to have a couple good players outside of the bench(barring injuries). So I am wondering if I should spend most of it on my youth team, spend it anyway on another player for the first team(making my squad more bloated), or just save the money? There are plenty of very good young players at affordable prices, but none I need at the moment on my team, should I just buy them and immediately send them on loan?
you may aswell spend it because if you dont it wont be there when the new budgets come out next season and the £30m may turn into less but if you spent it all you will still be given a budget for next season
Always use the budget otherwise it dissapears.
If you don't know who to buy then buy loads of youngsters. Uefa rules state that you need 4 players who have trained at your club (Buy them and loan them out) for at least 3 seasons before the age of 21. So I always have my scouts finding hot prospects aged 18 or younger so that in the third season of the game that can start being registered for Uefa.
