Portable Genie Scout 12

Do you know if it will be possible to run Genie Scout 12 from a USB stick or without actually carrying out any install onto a computer?

I would like to be able to do some scouting for players while at work, though i can't install anything on to this computer but can run portable apps from USB and have my save game on a USB stick also.

GS12 should work similarly to GS11. I think what you're saying can be done, given that you can choose where to install the application. However, I haven't personally tested this scenario.

Maybe someone who tried this with GS11 could shed some light, or you could give it a go now?

I haven't played FM since FM09, and seem to remember it working on that, though can't actually remember if i installed Genie Scout 09 on my work laptop (they were slightly more lax 3 years ago) or ran it without installing.

Will take it along tomorrow and give it a go.

Had a try and Genie Scout 09 works from a USB stick so if 12 is the same idea then i guess it will work just as well.

Has anyone else tried this with Genie Scout 11?
