Can someone please help

I am starting a fm 2012 player sim league but am struggling to get my head around the editor. Im looking for essentially an empty database except 4 teams that play eachother twice a season.
Also with 16 players per team each with Generic Player 1 names etc. and all with generic stats.
Also if possible generic staff members at each team just to keep things running.
The teams dont need reserve teams etc. just the standard first team.
They also dont need stadiums they can play on an open field for all i care

You just go to Database on the left hand side, go to competition and then in the bottom right corner it should give you the option to add so you can create a competition this way and then add teams to it and what not.
