I've tried him as everything in his favourite position, Advanced Playmaker (Attack) - favourite role, shit.
Attacking Midfielder (both roles)- balls
Everything!
And with the price I payed for him (£24.5m) I'd expect him to make up for it!
I've run out of ideas of how to get him playing properly. He speaks Italian (I'm manager of Juventus btw) and I've even got both Neymar AND Hulk in the squad playing up the pitch with him!
Has anyone got him on top form before? I had the same problem with him in FM11
I bought him to Juventus in fm11 and it took a couple of seasons for him to play his game. It seems that his adaptability is low, so just be patient. I used him as CM - Attack, as i remember, but not sure.
He definitely has to be AMC, I've tried him has MC,AMR,AML and he failed at those. If you're going to buy such a expensive player might as well change your tactic to suit him.
i bought him for my Man Utd, and it works excellent, i put him on MC position and use him as advance playmaker. maybe my tactics is match with the his style, i don't know for sure

Do you come up against DMC as this could limit his impact if you play him as a AMC? Maybe play him as a AMC but give him a free role?
Man, I'm Juventus too and I've been trying to sign him for the last 2 seasons....my scout reports keep saying he is not interested, even though I just won the league, italian cup, and made it to the champions final(lost on PKs). He had interest in my first season but no more. Same thing for Neymar and Hulk for me, how did you get them?
i won championsccup with tottenham - made it into 9500 reputation and still hazard nor hulk dont want to sign with me. they stay in LOSC and FCP forever lol

i got Hulk for liverpool in my second season for about 25M and for hazard i've reached an agreement to get him for 30M but i didn't get him because i prefer Iker Munian and Angel Di Maria
if they wont sign with our club ...
just swap him ...
