#36878 Walsall_Craig : Your season looks good so far, so keep up the good work with Arsenal its always good to use young players in your first team to give them the confidence and match practice for when your really need them,.

Lets hope you can do like what Sir Alex did and really open up his young talent and just feed more through within the years.
Yes that is what i'm trying to do but Chamberlain is away with the under 20's at the moment and Coquelin and Frimpong are injured. They would be playing if they were fit as we have a lot of injuries in midfield as Arteta is now injured.
Arsenal vs Udinese Champions League Best play off

4-2-3-1: Szczesny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Gibbs,Ramsey,Song,Park,Chamberlain,Gervinho,Van Persie

Did not want to think that the game was over so put out a strong team bt played Chamberlain to give him playing time.

Van Persie gave us the lead after 30 minutes and then Chamberlain made a good run and put a great low cross for Van Persie to finish. Mertesacker made it 3-0 with a header from a corner. We won the game with a 6-1 aggerate which I find really impressive. Hopefully these good games in the Champions league will start to happen in the Premier League.
Arsenal vs West Brom League Match Attendance:60,361

4-4-2:Szczesny,Koscielny,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Gibbs,Walcott,Ramsey,Rosicky,Santos,Park,Van Persie.

Strong line up as we were looking for our first win in the premier league this season.

Van Persie gave us the lead and then got another one to make it 2-0. Later on in the game Park then got his first goal for the club. Great performance and we are know 3rd in the league. Great performance from Van Persie.

Transfer Update:
We completed the signing of Moussa Sow for £9million who wil be a great player for the club. Nearly the end of the transfer window but Man City and Real Madrid have not contacted us about signing Sagna. Man City made a 10million bid earlier in the transfer window but I rejected it because he is a important first-team player and it wasn't enough for his quality.
Sounds like you have made a solid start! in the champions league draw and 3rd in the league! This is a good read, keep it up :)

Man City vs Arsenal FC League Match

4-2-3-1: Szczesny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Gibbs,Song,Ramsey,Rosicky,Walcott,Gervinho,Van Persie
Subs Used: Chamberlain,Park.

A very strong line up if you look at the squad and was looking to either get a draw or win agianst a very strong Man City side. In the first 40 minutes Man City dominated the game and got a goal they deserved. Vermealen tackled Dzeko but the ball went into the back of the net to count as a Vermealen own goal. I the second half played a lot better but Aquero missed a one-on-one to put the game to bed. Walcott then equalised for us and gave us a chance in the game. The game stayed at 1-1 and we are now 8th in the league. Won 1 and drawn 3. Disappointing start to the season in the league but still early and haven't lost a match. Good result for us and I hope the morale improves for the next coming games.
Arsenal FC vs Leverkusen Champions League Group Match

4-4-2: Szczesny, Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Santos,Gervinho,Arteta,Song,Park,Chamakh,Van Persie
Subs Used:Gibbs, Walcott

Good starting line up and was going for a win after a thrashing against Udinese in the Play off's. Giibs gave us the lead in the second half. The match was a boring game but a win is a win so we get the 3 points.
Arsenal vs Everton

4-4-2: Szczesny,Sagna,Koscielny,Vermealen,Santos,Walcott,Coquelin,Song,Gervinho,Park,Van Persie

Strong line up and looking for a second win in the premier league.

Park gave us the lead and then Van Persie doubled our lead making it 2-0. Everton then got an qualiser but failed to extend that.

Good win which puts us up the table until the other matches are played we are 4th.

Club News:
We have got a new feeder club to send the best promising youngsters at the club who can't get into the team. The feeder club is Ankacagucu who are in the Turkish Premier Division. It would be great for players to play their first of all because it would be a high standard and that it would be challenging for them to play in another country especially like Turkey.
Wigan Athletic vs Arsenal FC League Match

4-2-3-1: Szczesny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Santos,Coquelin,Song,Benayoun,Gervinho,Walcott,Van Persie
Subs Used:Ramsey,Miyaichi

Good line up against a team that could beat anyone when they are playing home. Sagna gave us the lead and then Mertesacker doubled our lead. Wigan got one back but then Van Persie got us the third to finish the game off.

Trabonspor vs Arsenal FC Champions League Group Match

4-2-3-1: Szczesny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Santos,Ramsey,Song,Park,Gervinho,Arshavin,Van Persie

Disappointing match as we drew 0-0 but we still got a point when playing a long way from home. 2nd in the group and we're drawing points with Valencia on 4 points but they are 1st because of goal difference.

Transfer Update:
At the moment I am looking at three players;
Marco Reus -
Marvin Martin -
Rasmus Elm -
I have been scouting them and also been attending their matches. At the moment I want Marco Reus because we already have a lot of central midfielders. I will be giving a new transfer update soon and by the time I do, I hope I know how much each player is valued by their club.
Blackburn Rovers vs Arsenal FC League Match

4-2-3-1:Szczseny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Koscielny,Vermealen,Ramsey,Song,Benayoun,Walcott,Miyaichi,Van Persie
Subs Used:Coquelin,Chamberlain

Good strong line up playing away from home which is always difficult in the Premier League. Gave Miyaichi a start as I have had good training reports. Also played Vermealen Left-Back as Santos and Gibbs were injured.

Got a good start as Ramsey put us in front. But then straight away they got one back through a Goodwille goal. Mertesacker then finished the game for us as he scored from a Van Persie free-kick as he managed to take the keeper on and pass the ball into the back of the net.
Transfer Update:
I have had recently had more reports on the scouted players i'm scouting. Martin is the player who's rating has improved according to Giles Grimandi. All players are having really good reports from my scouts so it is making my decision who to buy very difficult.
Newcastle United vs Arsenal FC League Match

4-2-3-1:Szczesny,Sagna,Mertesacker,Vermealen,Gibbs,Arteta,Song,Ramsey,Walcott,Gervinho,Chamakh
Subs Used:Sow,Miyaichi

Not much to report on in this match as it was a boring 0-0 draw. Disappointing result as I was looking to get three points to make us go third but instead we have gone forth but Liverpool have a game in hand on us.

Season Expectations
So far the season has started well for me, winning games when playing youngsters, doing well in the league and Champions league. Want to stay in the top 4 by January as my next target. It is in the middle of October so it is still a couple of months away till January.
