in fm2011 when you went into team report the assistant would recommend some players for a weak position in the team , has this feature gone now or is it under a different name?
well you got scouts doing that job for you more now than before. even playing at lower leagues my scout has come with lots of players automatically. so just send scouts on a job to find players in a certain position and such and you should get a good amount of recommendations.

Just curious: Where in FM11 were you seeing the assistant recommending players for a weak position? I'm still playing FM11, and I don't ever recall seeing the assistant give me the names of recommended signings.

Or are you talking about the line in the assistant's team report where it might say "we could use an extra defender or two to bolster the back line"?
In FM11, when you did the team report, it would list up to 3 possible players to strengthen the team, I'm pretty sure it was somewhere in the middle of the screen on the left hand side
Yeh on the team report sreen, didnt always give you reccomendations though..

Scouts are much better on Fm12, they give you a huge list at the beginning of the season or when you sign them for the first time, all you gotta do is find the position your hoping to strengthen.

You yourself can scout players now too ive found out. If you attend a match or just against an opponents player you can get a scout report that you have done yourself, pretty cool :)
