Getting the best out of Genie Scout

This is my first year using Genie Scout along side FM and I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me a few tips on how to get the best from the program, i.e. what filters do you apply in order to find the best youngsters and the next Messi etc.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.

The way I get young Players.

Filter by age 0~19
After the list comes up sort by 'best potential position' or 'potentioal rate of position'
