One thing that gets my goat in the new game is the amount of players who retire early especially if they run out of contract and no one picks them up because of high wages. Ive seen good players retire at 28/29 even tho I have tried to tempt them on smaller wages than what they were used to.
The worst was on my lodgers game where Ched Evans retired at 23 which is ridiculous.
Hope they sort this out in the next update.
wtf lol that is stupid stuff, havent played this game that much that ive encountered such problem.
what ive encountered is players NOT retiring. instead they hit like 35 after becoming legend at the club but will go to free instead, even though thye have become quite shit and get injured every time they get out of bed.
LOL
Even Bellamy retired on mine after 2 seasons plus several others.
Another daft thing was Eto' signed a new contract with that Russian club then retired 2 weeks later. Madness.
I had a young regen on my team who was pretty bad, my scouts projected him to only go 1.5 stars. I wasn't going to sign him but when the "1 day left to sign" message appeared I offered him a contract. Since there was only 1 day left, he didn't accept it before he left the team. Then, as a free agent, he refused to accept my contract. About a week later it said he retired, at the age of 15. I guess that isn't that unrealistic, a young academy player realizes this just isn't the game for him, but seeing a player retire at 15, no matter how bad, was crazy
that contract drama with etoo must be a one off. cause im currently mamaging Anji makhachkala and im in my 3rd season and he is still very happy at the club
