1) Stars ratings from scouts and coaches - from what I have read, scouts are trying to predict PA and coaches are comparing 'player' with other players in squad. Is this correct? If so, is it possible to get evaluation from scout once the player has signed for my club? As usually I'm more interested in general player potential, not a potential related to his clubmates.
2) Does the attributes that are shown as important for certain position/role are the only attributes that the player will heavily rely on? What I mean is that there was few occasions where a player that had all attributes required for his role 15+ was given quite a low evaluation by genie or in-game scouts. Which makes me wonder, what in-game scouts define as a 'good' player?
3) Comparing two players, let's say two DCs, one having decent creative/technical/defensive skills and another one having perfect defensive, but lousy technical skills, which one should perform better in a position that does not show technical skills as a main ones? Would the first "technical" defender receive any benefits from his non-defensive skills or the superiority of second player's defensive skills would be a better choice?
4) As some positions have quite different main skills depending on which role you assign, how does this translates in coaches stars evaluation? E.g. using same example from last question, does the player with excellent attributes for limited defender role would be evaluated as a very mediocre player if his other attributes are quite low?
5) The same question goes for genie scout, as it includes a lot of skills when calculating player rating, this means that a player that has perfect skills for certain position/role, would be considered as a low-rating, because he lacks overall attributes?
I've tried to create a bit different weighting system for genie scout, that is taking in consideration only attributes that are marked as a main ones for positions/roles I'm using in my tactics, but I'm still not sure if that's the best way... So if you could answer a question or two or spare some thoughts on those topics - that would be great
Thanks!
