Hello everyone , I have decided to make a story with Fulham who the media predict to come 10th in the table. The board gave me a transfer budget of 200K and expect me to achieve a mid-table finish , I am hoping to push for a Europe League place.

Transfers
Out- Stephen Kelly to Southampton - £2 millions
Out- Bjorn Helge Riise to Newcastle - £1.8 million
Out - Rafik Halliche to Vitesse - £1.7 million

In - Paul Pogba from Manchester United - Loan
In- Mohamed Diame from Wigan - £3.8 million

The players I sold i viewed as dead wood and sold them to raise funds for a DM which is Diame. I brought in Pogba as Central Midfield cover.

Pre-Season

Due to having to qualify for the Euro Cup i never had many freindlies and the ones I did have i left to my assitant manager but this is how pre-season went.

Euro cup 1st Qualifier 1st leg - Zeta 0-4 Fulham
Euro cup 1st Qualifier 2nd leg - Fulham 6-0 Zeta
Euro cup 2nd Qualifier 1st leg - Fulham 3-1 Kecskemet
Friendly- Fulham 0-2 Mainz
Euro cup 2nd Qualifier 2nd leg - Kecskemet 0-1 Fulham
Friendly - Luton 0-0 Fulham
Euro cup 3rd Qualifier 1st leg - Fulham 1-0 Legia
Friendly - Fulham 1-2 Napoli
Euro cup 3rd Qualifier 2nd leg - Legia 1-2 Fulham
Friendly - Crusaders 1-5 Fulham

Overall I am unhappy with pre-season but as I said before my assitant manager did it all so I'm not to bothered.

The next update will be of the month of August where we start the Premier League , please tell me what you think of the transfers and pre-season below.

Also thanks to adamahc for the name of the story
Looks like a nice story, the cup has been going good, keep it up :)

This will be a great story, keep it up and go to 1st place. Cheers!
The month of August wasn't very good for us , we played 5 games and spent some more money in the transfer window but first we'll start with our fixtures.

Premier Division - Tottenham 1-0 Fulham
Euro cup 4th Qualifier 1st leg- HJK 1-1 Fulham
Premier Divison - Fulham 3-1 Wigan
Euro cup 4th Qualifier 2nd leg- Fulham 4-1 HJK
Premier Division - Bolton 1-0 Fulham

As I said the month wasn't great but we'll keep going and try to find some form.

Transfers
Amr Zaki from Athletico Madrid for £1.6 million

Also the Euro cup draw took place and this was our group :

PSV
Fulham
Rapid Bucharest
Viktoria Plzen

And the league cup drew us at home against Tottenham

Please tell me what you think of our transfers below. :)
not really hard group, maybe PSV. Win EL and PL :D Cheers. Good trasnfers

September was a better month for us as we went the full month unbeaten , we had a few draws and a few wins but more importanly no losses , here are the results :

The result against wolves isn't as bad as it looks as they were currently 2nd in the league and favourites for the match.

We were drew a home tie against championship side , and holders of the cup Birmingham in the League cup 4th round and will be hoping to continue our progress in that competition aswell as the Euro cup.

To finish here is a look at the league table :

INJURY NEWS

Mohamed Diame - Damaged elbow 2-3 weeks

Clint Dempsey - Torn groin muscle 2 months
