Difficulty Level

hey everybody,

I´m totally new to FM, but FM 2012 is not my first manager game. I recently baught the game and directly startet to play with my favourite team, Fenerbahce SK. My career went well, but while playing I learned a lot of things and read some articles in this forum which were really helpful. After three seasons I decided to start a new game and make use of all the things I learned from the very first match. I picked again Fenerbahce SK and the first thing that confused me was the fact that my transfer budget decreased dramatically. In my first career the biardroom offered my 10 mio for new players while I I only received 200k in the second career and generally everything seems to be much more difficult than in the first career.
Does the game raise the difficulty level automatically and is it normal that there is such a huge differences in the transfer budgets?

what do you mean by second career? do you mean your second season? or that you started a new save game?

the "difficulty" doesnt rise, with money it often depends on how u take care of your budget(spending carefully, selling etc). also on how well your team is doing, so if your doing very good winning and such your budget will most likely increase. if things arent going that good your budget might not be going well either.

I just startert a totally new career, as a new manager. I know that I have to win in order to get more money, but the confusing thing was that I picked the same team again and received a much lower transfer budget for the first season (20011/12) than I had when I started to play my first career (10 mio instead of 200k).

hmm that is odd, a bit of difference can often be there.

but my bet is that the new game u started was with the new update and therefor less money.

that might be the reason... thx for your help.
