Because i know im not the only one who saves a game just before a new intake of youth players is announced in my club, and starts to load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load and load THAT SAME savegame until a 5-STAR PLAYER REGEN appears. Im pretty sure im not the only one... :)
thats called cheating . just play the game properly

lol, I have never done that, you may as well just open fmrte and alter one of the regens, would save you a hell of a lot of loading time :D

lol.. i would... but i would be too tempted to turn all of my average-1&1/2-star regens into uber-f*cking-5-star Beckenbauer, Garrincha, Maradona and Cruyff style players. Maybe i got too carried away by Barcelona´s huge success into forging complete unknown 1-star players into 4-stars-world-class players. Seriously, did anybody hear about Sergio Busquets before Guardiola promote him to the first team?? me neither...
so is there a date this happens every year? whats the date for npower league 1/2 clubs???
Why not just play the game as it was meant to be played, rather than essentially just make an easier game by loading before vital points?
I've been playing my Oldham game for 10 seasons now and not once had a good regen. Sucks nads.
I haven't upgraded my facilities and yet, and I am about to start my sixth season, and the best regen I have had is a half-star striker. Heading into the EPL with a 4500 capacity stadium and dodgy training and corporate facilites.

I'll also admit that none of them have a show of playing in my first team.....so I will build up the bank balance and poach some nice young talent from somewhere, and once I have established whether I can cut it in the EPL, I'll look at backfilling and succession playing for my first team from the reserves, but I look at it as part of the challenge.....

In the same breath, I have been lucky with cast offs from both City and Man Utd that I have been able to pick up on frees!
For me this would be some stupid waste of time. Mostly because I manage a team where you might get good(the one who could play for 1st team) regen once like every 10-20 years.
