Somethings up with my game crashing and I've tried clearing the cache and verifying. So now I want to reinstall but before I do I want to make sure my game saves will stay safe. Do they? Or is there something I have to do first to keep them safe?
To my knowledge they should be safe in you documents. But I think it always be safe then sorry so I would copy the saves into your desktop just in case.

Thanks. What's the best way to reinstall it? I'm trying to be extra careful since I have over 220 hours into this save game. Haha.
There's no better way to re-install really. To feel safe, you can backup your savegame to a folder of your choice. You can find all of your FM12 savegames here:
C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\games\
