Cant win a single game.

Please help, im losing faith in fm2012 very fast, Im playing in the blue square north south league, i no it will be hard to get a winning team but im on 18 games with out a win, i've scored around 10 goals and conceded about 80!!

Im playing basic 4-4-2....

gk=defend
fb's=defend
mw=surport
mcd-defend
mc=auto
st=poacher
st=target man

Now i've read through some tips and it says dont put midfield players on CROSSING as it means they will go to the wings to CROSS the ball, so have that set at RARELY.

fb's= Deep crossing and the always cross down the flanks.

Have defenders to FULL LEFT (OWN AREA) CLOSING DOWN
have wide midfield and midfield centers to (left/own half) CLOSING DOWN
have strikers to (left/whole pitch) CLOSING DOWN

My midfield centers wont tackle for the ball they just seem to always be out of position or wont tackle, SO THE opposite teams midfield have so much space to pass the killer ball for them to score?

I have my team set up as RIGID CONTROL when at home
and RIGID DEFENSIVE when away.

I have tried quick and slow TEMPO.

My wide midfielders wont cross the ball, THEY JUST KEEP TURNING LEFT AND RIGHT until they are tackled and lose the ball.

ANY help in giving me some tips on set up or individual player settings would be very helpful please!!!

Have you tried setting your tackling to aggressive? Also set roaming to stick to position.

Normally have ROAMING to default.

Tried AGGRESSIVE tackling and get to many RED cards lol.
