First Timer Liverpool

Ok so im new to FM12 and obviously as im a liverpool fan ive started with them only to find i have a budget of £2mil and they expect me to challenge for the title!

Please could somebody help me and reccommened some players/staff/tactics or even some hints and tips id greatly appreciate it???

Try to get rid of any deadwood in your squad particularly high earning players who don't feature in your plans. Getting rid of them can clear up some space in your wage budget which you can exchange for additional spending money in the boardroom.

A good assistant manager can make a huge difference. Find one with high tactical knowledge, 16+ for premier league and have him set opposition instructions for each game. Make sure he also has high attributes in motivating, level of discipline, man management.

1. get kuyt tutoring henderson thats essential
2. get rid of maxi, fabio aurelio, you can get 2.5-3mil for suso just transfer list him and transfer list joe cole and aquiliani even though there away.

staff- gian bisciotti and francisco ayestaran amazin fitness coaches which you will need (just let milsdoms contract run out)

dave parnaby.. possibly only be able to get him a few months into the game but get him as just a coach and put him in charge of your reserves and rodolfo borrell in charge of the under 19's get them both to renew contracts themselves.. parnaby is essential if you ask me.

and try in january fausto salsano from city.. amazing attacking and technical coach or you could go for valter di salvo (both first team coaches)

also if you have the money get SEYDOU DOUMBIA he is a 20+ goals a season poacher.. he basically got me 2nd spot in the league and an FA cup trophy and he even went to the africa cup of nations.. best player ive ever bought

I got wolves striker griffiths scores alot alot and cheap u ca get ex man u striker ruud van nistlerooy a good keeper at everton mucha i bee told sanogo is a good striker

question..y keep dirk kuyt? liverpool only start with a max of 6m EUROS..

I sold kuyt (12m), lucas (16m), maxi (6m) and skrtl (12m) = 46m euros..with that i start with 52m euros

i bought eriksen, badelj, kadlec, sanogo, willian, kovacic, versaljko, dzagoev, crisitieg, verratti..

liverpool do a future british back 4..robinson, wilson, kelly and flanagan (train them all wisely)

in order to keep stevie g playing..i turn him to a deep lying playmaker or ball winning midfielder..

and at the moment carroll and downing are unhappy becuz they're both on the transfer list..

im hoping to have this team for the future

Liverpool are quite easy to boss England and Europe with, if you do it right.

get rid of aurelio, maxi and Kuyt asap. get Jack Robinson and Jonjo shelvey out on loan to the championship and in a couple years they'll be first team players for you.

DONT play henderson in centre mid, play him either attacking mid behind a striker or out wide as an AP.

Danny Wilson can be a top player if you manage him right, dont let him rot in your reserves. either play him or get him out on loan.

also, get rid of skrtel and get in Ryan Shawcross. Shawcross is the best english CB on the game and can succeed gerrard as captain when he retires.

carragher gets crap after the first year.

Downing is also awesome, play him as a Winger (AML) and get him taking corners.

if you have no money trick is to pay everything in installments. the longer you spread payments out for the less it'll take out of that season's budget/

as someone said above, get rid of Cole and Aquilani asap, they're both awful.

also, let Doni go after year 1, he's on £50k a week which is far too much for a 2nd choice keeper, get Alex Smithies as a no 2.

oh Martin Kelly, becomes a great RB, train him in that position and give him plenty of games. never did it for me as a CB. you can always move Johnson accross to LB.
