Decided to start a new campaign in italy managing napoli after many succesful seasons as my beloved man utd.
I decided as my targets were mid-table to push for europe i had to try a few new tactics.
I went for a 4-2-1-2-1 formation (using 2 DM, 1CM, 2WING, 1ST) for my home games i have adoped a fluid counter approach and a defensive approach for most away fixtures.
so far i have played 14 league ties and 5 CL ties, Im currently top of Seria A a whole 10 points clear after 13 wins and 1 draw, along the way were some amazing victories away from home, 1-0 away to juventus and 2-1 away to A.C Milan, this tactical approach has seen my side score over 30 goals so far in the league and i have only conceded 4.
In the CL i have 2 wins 2 draws and 1 loss, although i lost in a close 1-0 at old trafford i did beat man utd 2-0 at home, also beating and drawing with villareal, and qualified with 1 game remaining at home to lille. All this down to a few key tactical decisions which have made a huge impact and the team love to play, also made a few sigings which fit this system well, one of my best all beit a strange signing was chris brunt from WBA.
If anyone wants to give these tactics ago i can upload for you!
I use often 4-2-1-2-1
