December Update

Chelsea (H) 0-0 D
Otelul (H) 6-0 W
Sunderland (A) 0-0 D
Man City (H) 2-2 D
Tottenham (H) 0-0 D
Blackburn (A) 2-0 L
Aston Villa (A) 3-0 L

So I'm not winning games. Going to sign a striker in the January transfer window.
RAGE QUIT!

I've had enough of not finding a team that keeps me interested. I was Man Utd cause I wanted an easy save and I support them so I thought it would be fun. Can't be bothered with them.

I have quit early with my teams so far.

Eastbourne - Got bored.
Dortmund - Could not see a future.
Man Utd - Regret starting it.

Don't really know why I did a story on them because I just wanted a bit of fun, so I don't think it would of been a good story, because I wasn't taken it seriously and didn't put much effort into it.

I might do a story with the best team in the world. So I will be Wig... Wait, Barcelona next.

Don't know if I will do a story or just play it. Is Barcelona a good that that you will enjoy reading?
I might be Vitesse as well, but that will need some effort and at the moment I don't feel like playing FM so I will probably leave them for a while.

Anyway tell me if Barcelona and Vittese would be interesting to read? Thanks.
LOL

Not surprised you quit mate...think you did well to last that long!

I am struggling to hold my interest on FM12 for long with any game.

I support United so have tinkered about with them a fair bit without actually having a prolonged game. My advice if you start again would be to sign a couple of big names for an immediate impact and to get you excited.

Even though you only get 17m its surprising how far you can stretch it by buying over 36 or 48 months using installments. You can also generate serious cash by selling players, I always look to offload some of the older players straight away and have found you can genarally shift:

Carrick - 8.75M
Park - 12.5M
Berbatov - 11.75M
(I Always sell these 3)

Anderson - 12M
Evra - 30M (although I hate doing it and quite often keep him)
Ferdinand 25M (Again, hate doing it but 25M is too good to turn down for a player about to turn 33 and is mega injury prone)

footnote to Rio is that generally only Spurs pay that figure and thats only possible when I have bought Modric off them first to swell their coffers.

Anyways...point is you can make a fortune to go nuts on Gotze, Hazard, Cavani, Modric, Hamsik or anyone else you like who you know can come straight in and do a class job. United need a bit of an overhaul both in real life and on the game if you ask me and its fun to do it. If I were you I would start again with them, sure you will get the buzz back bro
Again i think you should consider a scottish team. I am considering going a scottish team?

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one who can't get into FM12. And about Man Utd, if I ever be them again (won't do a story) I will sell Ferdinand for 25 million! Wow.

I don't know if you have read my story/stories but do you think Vittese would be a good story to read? Thanks.

Hmmm... They don't appeal to me that much. I mean, you don't have a high budget and only 2 teams could win the league. Don't you think? They are kinda like the Spanish League but without money and not European Champions Cup chance?
I took control of Leicester because they have quite a bit of money for a championship team, and, if you get them promoted there is that satisfaction of doing a good job.

Yeah, I normally do lower league teams, but at the moment I'm not. I have looked at them before. When I start doing lower league teams again, I will for sure be them.
Dude its just you need to fine-tune your formation and tactics!! Man utd should win most games easy if you use the correct formation, lineups and tactics!

Yeah I know, I didn't really put any effort into it because I was bored being them. Will be them again one day. I just didn't find them interesting enough for me. Your story is good enough for me anyways. ;)
