The story is going good mate, keep up the good work with Sunderland, lets hope you can do well with the Black Cats,

Good Luck for the rest of the season!!!

Thanks mate. I am first in the Premier League and won the Carling Cup too. However the defence has been more than leaky, and depending on how much the board give me, i am looking to really bolster up my defence. The other problem is that high profile players dont want to come to Sunderland. But seeing as we will definitely finish in the top 4 and we have qualified for the Champions League, i hope we can attract some better players.
Give it some time. It takes a while to establish into a top European club. They will come my friend
Oh what a nasty game that Chelsea one. All those cards. This would have made some serious headlines in the real world. haha damn I would have loved to see that game :)
HAHA true. It was a nasty game. Funny too cos come of the cards were sooo stupid!!

And I know. Just its tough without any world class leaders to help the team. Hopefully we can continue our run though and see the season through to the end!
#44982 nakulp : Hey guys need some advice from you. At the end of the season, Welbeck and Bendtner will g back to their respective clubs and so i will be 2 strikers short. Currently, my other strikers are:

Wickham
Ji Dong-Won
Kadlec

I have also signed Fierro as a young prospect for the future, and he joins Sunderland in July. In the mean time, I think i need one older more experienced striker to carry the team and partner Kadlec. Can anyone suggest a player who i can sign?

Or do you think i'll be ok with the current strikers?

1. Seydou Doumbia- 24 years old, goal scoring machine.
2. Nilmar- 28 years old, fast little player who can both score and set up and can play on both wings.
3. Edison Cavani- enough said, but i wouldn't buy him unless you are fiancally secure
4. Carlos Tevez- If you thimk you could handle him
5. Marouane Chamakh- 27 years old, great as a lone striker.

Thanks man. The only problem is that none of these players are likely to come to Sunderland are they? WOuldve loved to sign Cavani or Doumbia, but neither want to come. I have secured a Champions League place for next year, so hopefully they will want to come. Also i am not predicting a huge budget from the board.

So the option is, i buy big, if they come, or buy small and use whatever cash remains to bolster up my defence!

Which do you think would be better?

I say buy a better defence because you will be facing teams like barca and real madrid in the champions league and you will need a way to stop the top attackers.
Cool. Any suggestions for solid defenders who could bolster my defence.

And maybe some good experienced or talented strikers who arent poachers, and who could do well in my team?

A great win for the lads. Another home victory, means we are yet to be defeated at home, even though we have hosted the big 4 as well as Man City and Spurs. We managed to control Chelsea well despite them scoring early on. We pegged them back immediately and set to work on their defence to ensure we secured a win!
Defenders- kara- he plays for tromso, he has great stats and he is young.
Matthias Ostrzolek- plays Bochum has great stats and great potential.
Dejan Lovren- good player
Toby Alderweireld- good player
(Toby Alderweireld and Dejan Lovren is a great partnership)

A decent away draw, but this means that if Man Utd win later this evening, we will be one point behind them. They say this title race is cruel, but this would be heart breaking for the lads. Theyve batted so hard, and with only 3 games left, we can only hope United slip up!
I hope Manchester United come across some dodgy lasagne!
Try and sign Vagner love from Cska Moscow, hes brilliant. Can play as an advanced forward or Deep-lying forward. Links well with other strikers.
what country and leagues did you use for this?

Me too dude. Might have to send one of my scouts to infiltrate their camp and poison their water :P
