Need help. My games keep crashing when i go onto player search

Every game I start or load works but when I go onto the drop down menu and press player search it takes me to the main home page. When I press player search from the tool bar it freezes and crash's, then it closes and gives me an error message and puts the file in crash dump
Don't no what the problem is someone help?

It could be because finding all the players is too much for your computer too handle.

Could use some extra information: Has the player search worked for you before on FM12? Does the same thing happen on different game saves? Does player search work with a smaller player database or a smaller club scouting knowledge? What are your pc specs?

I've noticed that having many scout reports slows down the player search considerably, this could cause the problem if you've scouted thousands of players.

I've found it could have something to do with the 12.2 patch.

First try changing the game skin back to the default (if your using a custom skin).

You could try starting a game with a very small database to see if that fixes the issue.

If your using an edited database try creating a game with only the standard database.

Finally you could try reinstalling the game.

All games including old ones don't work. I do not believe it to be my computer as this is only a recent issue. it may have something to do with the 12.2 patch as this is the first time i've used it so it may have something to do with the editor alternate databases and the downloaded skins/face packs I have. I will post an update soon to let you know what i have done and if it works.

Also each game i start gets placed into a folder called crash dumps if that helps?

Most likely it will be a custom skin so first try changing the skin back to the default (FM 2012 or FM2012 dark), hopefully this will fix it.

Unable to get onto FM 12 now as it keeps saying it is already being played. any ideas why this is happening, should I just go for a complete uninstall and install. If so can I keep my old games ?

To stop the "already being played" see if FM is running in the task manager and end the process, or instead simply restart your computer and try to run FM12 again.

I'm having the same problems as "jamesborough", so does this mean that i can no longer use my reflex skin?
I don't want to use the default one as it makes my eyes hurt!
