In his 2 seasons at AZ Kevin Realist has won 2 consecutive League titles, 1 dutch cup, and 1 European League Championship, and has reached the quarter finale of the Champions league.
In 2013 Guardiola left Barcelona to manage Spain's national team, and rumors were that Kevin Realist was an option as Guardiola's successor.
Kevin Responded by saying he was flattered that Barcelona even knew his name, seeing as Barcelona was his favorite team.
In August of 2013 Barcelona decided to name Kevin Realist as their new manager.
Barcelona fans were furious, as they grew to love Guardiola, and felt that Kevin Realist has not done enough to convince them that he is worthy of coaching the Barcelona team.
Fast forward 2 seasons
It is now july 2015
Kevin Realist has won the hearts of Barcelona fans all over the world, with 2 League titles, 1 Champions league title, 2 Club world cup titles, and 2 spanish cup titles.
Kevin Realist has had one of his best seasons yet, despite losing 2-0 in the Champions league finale against Arsenal.
In the league barcelona have suffered 0 loses, 2 draws, and had 9 goals against, and 113 goals for.
The Current Situation
The season has just ended and Kevin Realist has recently renewed his contract for 2 years, and has recently said that this might be his last 2 seasons at Barcelona, in favour of managing a smaller club.
The expectations for next season are once again extremely high, with the likes of Neymar, Alexis Sanchez, and Messi being in top shape last season, and fans are hoping to see more of 18 year old wonderkid Ivan Navarro (also known as Tuta), who has made an extremely good impression last season with 4 goals, and 4 assist in 9 games for Barcelona, and is already being dubbed as the next Messi.
