Lionel Nicolas

Hi,

I have a player in my game that goes by the name of Lionel Nicolas. He's an AM/ST and he's easily the best wonderkid i've come across. The guy is an absolute goal machine (65 goals in first 2 seasons of the prem).

I can't find any information about him online as a real player or about him in FM12? has anybody else got him in the game?? or know anything about him?

he must be a regen, hence not real.

Gariah... the game must be new to you... no worries. Here's how it works.

As the game progresses from year to year, players go into retirement, and new players are added to the game. They are normally added at certain points of the season, depending on the league you are in, but the mechanic remains the same. Every season, you get a full youth squad, and then some, of players who are 14 years old, who actually don't exist, but are generated by a computer. All of their potential abilities, heights, weights, and so on are created by some form of statistic.

Hence, the name: "regen"

So, while your player may be excellent for you, he doesn't actually exist in anyone else's game, nor in real life, because he is simply a random number, which you found and trained into the goalscoring machine...
