I ve been posting a few teams I've been managing lately Newcastle and Wigan and been quite successful with the teams but there isn't really a major challenge as they are already established teams and I've been reading some posts and information about lower league teams and have decided to go Plymouth Argyle as my hardest challenge on FM.

They are a team riddled with debt and with no real prospects of promotion with a very poor squad so its a real challenge as there are no funds to acquire players and not a lot of interest in players to be sold so I'm stuck in a dilemma.

I am going to use the same philosophy i use when i manage on FM with an attacking formation and revamp of back room staff but i m going to try and use other techniques to raise as much funds as i can.

I am currently asking the board for a parent team to raise money annually and i have also cancelled all recent pre season fixtures and chose my own to raise as much revenue as i can just to keep the club afloat until new ownership comes into place

Well here i go ill post some info soon just to let use all know how I'm getting on any advice will be grateful as this is a big challenge and all help is welcome

CHEERS.............
Looking forward to this story but a real challenge would be Darlington who are in the BSP and as Plymouth are in big debt and have a points deduction. It would be more ideal with Darlington so you can achieve the steam award of getting a team from the lowest division to the highest division but plymouth are a real challenge as well I suppose :). Get in Jamil Adam he bags tons of goals.

Already signed him and your exactly right he's already bagged 12 in 11 games he's a demon!!!
Jamil Adam just scored 5 in a game and got a match rating of 10, he's out of this world that is now 18 goals in 14 games I've never seen such a prolific striker whilst playing the game he's class (obv only in this division but still its giving me pleasure in seeing my striker dominate this much)

Oh yer and heres an update from my Plymouth save

My team has recently been taken over and the investment pumped £2M into the club to reduce the debts theres still a long way to go until were out the red but hopefully a successful season could reduce that.

Were currently 3rd in the league

P12 W7 D4 L1 GS29 GA8 GD21 PTS25

We were beaten convincingly by Portmouth in the League Cup 2-0 but defeated Cheltenham in the Johnstons Paint Trophy 3-1.

Ill post more info soon and hopefully Jamil is still banging in the goals.................
