I honestly don't think it's possible. FM Genie Scout is a computer program... FM Handheld is for the phone. I don't think the save files are interchangeable.
At least they aren't for the iPhone. The game is saved within the application, so that you can't really get to the save file unless you know the inner workings of Android phones... and then I doubt the save game file is compatible.
If you do manage to get to the save games (iExplorer might do it on the iPhone. There might be a program for the Android. Check XDAdevelopers or RootsWiki), it is possible that it is openable via a text-edit file. But then you're on your own. It will be very "un-graphical" and it will take you a bit of time to figure out, even if it's well organized... if it's a bunch of "random" letters and numbers... then it's impossible to go through the material
