I'm somewhat curious actually, let's see if I can frame this question so it makes sense. I know what characteristics I rate most highly for a couple of different types of forwards, and in my case I'm generally looking for a complementary pairing, not a single forward. Over a number of FM games I've never had a "monster" scorer like I hear bandied about in a lot of stories, although I've had some very proficient ones. When a particular player turns into one who scores a great deal (let's just for fun define that as averaging one goal per start or greater), can you correlate their attributes with the style you play? WHY does such a player become such a great scorer? Let's take Doumbia - he's had a good goal scoring record with CKSA in real life, but he's not threatening the kind of numbers Messi and Ronaldo have put up, and that's playing in what we'd call a weaker league. What do you do to bring out massive scoring in this player in a tougher league (assuming it isn't "cheat", in which case I don't want to hear about it
