I'm Montpellier and I'm 2 games in. I beat Auxerre 5-1 at home and drew 2-2 with Lille. I was 2-0 up at HT vs Lille but didn't create enough chances or dominate possession. I'm only creating 5 or 6 chances a game, so I need a tactic that let's me keep possession the whole game and where I can create at least 12 chances a game. I play 4-2-3-1 which I'm happy with so I don't mind just team instructions or a new tactic!
Thanks :)
depends on your team, usually a bit of direct play with counter attacking style football can be good if ur playing with "wingers". and fast striker run onto ball. short passing and slow tempo usually gets u more of the ball but then u need very creative team and centre mid to be able to create a lot of chances(shooting as well).

A lot of this will be dependant on your opponents formations, teams players and if you are playing home or away. You would exepect the home team to have a bit more possession of the ball and attack a little bit more. Shorter slower tempo usually leads to high possesion stats but requires good creativity and passing ability accross the team. However they will hold the ball more and chose when to attack more wisely. If you play a higher tempo then you will get more shots at goal, probably a few less on target and not have as much possesion. It is up to you to figure out which tempo and passing style you prefer most.
