NEW MANAGER AT THE HELM OF JUVENTUS
The chairman of Juventus Andrea Agnelli announced to the media that new Manager Nathan Rogers was to take over from Antonio Conte with immidiate affect. The sacking of the manager was a surprise as he was only in charge for a few months. Conte said "Nathan, he be a very young and good manager who will bring some passion and flair to the side" he contineud by saying that he believed Rogers would introduce a nice flowing passing game and suggested that he believed Pirlo would be the base of this new philosophy.
The pre-season didnt start off well with a few rocky results against Stuttgart and A.C. Milan. I then decided to play teams that were more or less my equals in other countries and the performances improved providing some good results, especially against Feyenoord. We slipped up against Schalke as i hadnt sorted my defending at corners which was a mistake as the greek giant central defender punished us. Shandong was a tough result as we smashed them in every single way but yet we just would not score! Very frustrating and annoying. The team returned to the winning form to smash nanchang and Fluminese.

Squad Analysis at the end of pre-season:
I believed that we lacked depth through the spine of the team i.e. Central defence and a midfielder with go forward attacking vision who could be a threat to opposition by shootingat goal, running at them and putting through balls to the players higher up the pitch.
I decided to bring in Xulu- a young South African central defender(soft spot as i was born and lived in S.A for 15 and a bit years of my life) and Rafael Toloi who is a great prospect and has italian nationality.Badelj a player who looked to have potential to be everything i was looking for.
Transfers:
As you can see the only players to leave were Barzaglio who has been rated as shocking player and Libertazzi, both of whom have gone out on loan.
