i was managing Southampton and i tried to sign a guy.
But suddenly in my mail my assistant said that the story about my plan to sign this player leaked out and next thing i know Big teams like A.C Milan and the others are racing to buy this guy. There's no way i win againts them.
My question is how did that story leaked out and is there a way to prevent it?
That has happened to me as well, i think its just a random thing that happens but if its not and anyone does know how to prevent it please share lol
I suppose that's just football, this kind of thing happens doesn't it so I think although it would be annoying if it cost you a player that it adds more realism to other clubs being alerted to it.
IT'S Just a random thing that happens on the game, nearly everytime I put a bid in for a player it comes up saying the story is leaked.
I like to think that it's just the Agent of the player in question trying to jack up the transfer price. Really pisses me off sometimes when I see how much I've spent on Agent fees!!! Greedy scumbags!

Scouting the player before hand, may trigger it off....lol....there's always hope.
