Viktoria Plzen. The force of the Czech Republic

I am currently managing the Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen. I am currently I’m my fifth season but I’d thought I would write a story on my success with the club. My target in the first season was to win the league. But it turned into a great season as I also won the Czech super cup by beating Mlada boreslav 4-2 (AET) and the FA Cup by beating Hradrec Kralove 3-0. Winning the league was a difficult one. I was just getting used to the league and the players but I still won it, just on goal difference. I had a good squad, but I needed to buy a striker and Cedric was the man. He has been my number one player and is still upfront in season 5.

Ah he was a moaner.

So the first season was an overall success. Winning 3 competitions in my first year. The next season though I wanted to become stronger in the league and also enjoy the prospect of playing European Football. The season started with the season opener with the Czech super cup in which i lost 3-2 to jablonec (AET). I made it to the semi-finals of the Czech Fa Cup only to lose to Hradrec Kralove over two legs. The main Objective of the season though was to win the league and i did quite comfortably. I ended up winning the league by 11 points. Europe wasn't a success, winning just one of my six games in a group of Arsenal, Athletico Madrid and Shakhtar. The low point; a humiliating 8-1 loss to arsenal :(.
