Hi Everyone,

Just joined and want to say, 'Hi'. Now I have a question. I'm trying to find a winger and a striker that has real pace. Any ideas? My whole team is slow and I can't find any decent ones. Any other good players would be nice too.

Thanks for the help.

hey and welcome to FmScout britpol

Could you help narrow down a target, by saying budget and which team as regarding the information it could be anything from Bury to Arsenal
Walcott, Muniain, Gervinho...
Hi Guys,
Thanks for answering. Stupid me. My team is Ebbsfleet in the Blue Square Prem. Money... I wish.

And help Guys og Gals would be lovely.

I'm new to this game totally.

Ok my first suggestion will be to look for loans from bigger clubs, especially using filtering in the transfer center, as most of these will be youngsters with pace

Secondly look at the unnattached players (also use filter on transfer center) there should be some decent enough players, if you filter some of the attributes in.

Make sure you have assitant removes unrealistic transfers (or something along those lines), also you will not be able to see most of the attributes if you are playing with default settings, so most of it is hit and miss. Sorry can't be of help more havn't managed in that area since a long time before the update
Thanks for the help my friend. Not sure how to use 'filters' yet. And I've tried to use 'FM Genie' but I have no idea what I have to do. Got the manual but it's way, way too vague.

Love this forum and I hope to stay. Are there any decent 'Downloads' you know of?

Ah its a learning curve, I don't use genie personally but many on this forum do, comment on the genie guide and maybe another staff member will be able to help you.

Other than data editors, I would reccomend the EPL facepack from fmscout: http://www.fmscout.com/a-epl-megapack-2011-12-facepack-scope.html has all the english premier league faces so you see pictures instead of a outline of a head

Hi again,

I downloaded the 'face pack' and unpacked it. I can only see English leagues, is that everything? Also, where exactly must I put the download? I understand it to be Sports Interactive- FM 2012. If so do I just move the whole folder called 'Graphics, or a folder/s in it. And where do I turn off the 'Skins' thing?

I know I'm useless but I'm very old :(.

There are instructions on the page I linked you near the end there is information.
