Welcome to my Swansea story!

After starting many a save I have decided to go full time in my journey to turn Swansea into Europe's top club. After setting my standards as a minimum of a Mid-table finish i have recieved 6.4M to spend with roughly 70K spare on wages P/W.

At first the squad looked pretty tidy with the likes of Sinclair, Britton and the obvious Vorm, but I felt that each stage of my team lacked depth and class except goalkeeping where I was very sure that Michel could handle anything thrown(kicked or head)at him.

First through the door was Craig Dawson, a 21 year old centre half from West Brom for a fee of 1.4 Million. A defender familiar to most of you as he is transfer listed at the start of the 12.2 patch. Secondly Bressan, a 22 year old Belarusian midfielder signed from Bate Borisov for 1 Million Pounds. A young creative midfielder who I used to buy on FM11, regarding his attributes and reasonable youth he is a bit of a bargain! Swiftly behind Bressan was Darwin Quintero a 23 year old Colombian Striker known for his eye for goal and his small stature of 5 foot 5 inches, clocking in at a fee of 2.2 Million Pounds. All together I think my transfers are fairly pleasing, especially the steal of Bressan.

PreSeason Fixtures

Swansea v Swansea Reserves : 2-2 - Graham (2)
Swansea v Lech : 2-1 - Sinclair, Donelly
Sheffield Wed v Swansea : 3-1 - Graham (2), Moore
Neath v Swansea : 2-0 - Lita, Moore
Port Talbot v Swansea : 6-1 - Sigurdsson, Dyer, Moore (3), Orlandi
Ostersunds Fk v Swansea : 3-0 - Dobbie (2), Donelly

As you can see some fairly pleasing results, with the team playing free-flowing controlling football im confident for the season!

L'pool v Swansea : 0-1 - Quintero [LEAGUE CUP]
Chelsea v Swansea : 2-0

Overall a pretty solid 2 and a half months with 7 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses. The draw at home to Arsenal featured a solid performance from Vorm, with Van Persie unable to replicate his real life demolition of goalkeepers. I felt as if the team had performed well away at City where a lapse in concentration gifted them with a goal. Other than that Swansea are doing well in the league sitting in 7th and through to the next stage of the League Cup, drawing Reading away. we'll wait and see how it goes!

Will update soon as im off of college.

Any advice or questions are welcome!
