Defensive problems

I'm playing as Wigan so I'm not expecting a rock at the back but the amount of balls over the top that totally evade my full backs is a joke, how can I stop this ?

I have my central defenders set to "More defensive" in their Player instructions, and set their closing down to "own half"

Also, set defensive line in "Team instructions" to deep.

Yeah, this is really important if your defence isn't very strong.

It depends of kind of players your oponent uses If you set your defence to very deep you can suffer from crosses and distance or even with strong targetmen like Drogba or even Chamakh you can get much goals...

What are your starting lineup at the back RCB LCB and RB and RL ? do you have a DM and what setup do you use for midfield ?
