All my created players are on free transfers instead of my team

i have downloaded the lower leagues ( Ryman Leagues, Evo-Stick leagues ect.) and then placed my own created team in for another team. It all works perfectly, except one thing, all my created players are on free transfers, not in my team, on the editor they are all contracted to the team, everyone of them, all with wages, yet they aren't there? Any help would be deeply appreciated.
