I am starting a career with the mighty Manchester United, the team I support. However, rather than spending big bucks on players like most teams do with the credibility of Manchester United, but instead I plan on bringing up the youth and reserve players through the ranks, while mixing them with experienced players. I will buy one or two players at times, if United have a gap for a player they currently don't have in the youth, but what club doesn't buy any players when they've got the money?

I plan to change a few of the staff members around, but I won't bring in the staff that everyone does, such as the Assistant Manager everyone buys (Valdir De Moraes?). I plan on bringing in staff such as Jamie Redknapp, and ex players. I want club legends such as van Nistelrooy, Giggs and Scholes to become coaches once they retire. Eva Carneiro is also coming to the club at any cost, and many people will know why.

Cancer Research UK Cup

For a change to the normal ongoing friendlies, where half your squad gets tired or injured, I decided to play them in a different way. Therefore, I created the Cancer Research UK Cup, in honour of my great uncle (RIP), and invited teams. Only 4 teams are competing: Manchester United, Lancaster Town, Ashton United and Bamber Bridge.
Make sure you loan out the quality youth players. ie. Pogba, Macheda, Keane ect. I had Will Keane scoring 15+ a season in 2014/15 save, class he was, and also, choose the right training schedule, and to be honest, any good talents from youth should be put in the reserves so they get even better training if you know what i mean.
Anyway, good luck bud.

Six Of The Best!

Manchester United 6-0 Lancaster City

4-4-2
Line Up: David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Tom Cleverley, Michael Carrick, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used: Fabio, Chris Smalling, Ji Sung Park, Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Tomasz Kuszczack, Jonny Evans, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes

In a game that United got drift past, Lancaster could not deal with the Devils. After an early goal by Nani, Lancaster foolishly put the ball in their own net, followed by a goal by Jones 2 minutes before half time. Rooney also added to the score sheet with a goal in injury time of the first half. After many subs were made, changing nearly the whole squad, Park scored a brilliant volley, with Dimitar finishing off the game in the 87th minute. An easy win gifting Manchester United a place in the final.

The Magnificent Seven!

Manchester United 7-0 Ashton Uited

4-4-2
Line Up: David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Fabio, Ashley Young, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Dimitar Berbatov, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used: Anders Lindegaard, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Ji Sung Park, Wayne Rooney, Rafael Leo, Jonny Evans, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes

After Hernandez opened the scoring in the 17th minute, United just could not stop in the final. Javier's goal was followed 3 minutes later by a penalty cooled placed by Anderson, leading Berbatov to get a double, who was unlucky to not get a third on the stroke of half time, after his shot deflected off a Ashton United player resulting in an own goal. During the second half, Giggs couldn't help himself to a cheeky chip, followed by another own goal. An easy victory, leading the Reds to their first cup of the season. Can they add to this though?
Any suggestions of players to bring up to the first team from the reserves or u18 squads would be much appreciated.

Ashley Annihilates Antwerp!

Antwerp 0-3 Manchester United

4-4-2
Line Up: David De Gea, Zeki Fryers, Nemanja Vidic, Reece Brown, Marnick Vermijl, Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used: Antonio Valencia, Patrice Evra, Phil Jones

After a boring first half, which featured a Wayne Rooney tap in, and not much else, Hernandez decided to kick into action with ten minutes remaining. The team, full of youth stars hoping to make it big, then secured the win through an Ashley Young header in the 81st minute. A good win, but not the most exciting game. This is also the last game of pre-season, but the team will now prepare for City in the Community Shield.
Be careful with the City game! I made a mistake and it led me to a 5-0 loss, make sure you have at least 3 in midfield, one who can get the ball of their midfielders, another who can run through theirs and another as a deep lying playmaker.
I know you believe in the youth thing, but I would consider buying Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace and integrating him into your youth. He's a fantastic player. Also, I think your custom cup is a great idea, but I really find my team benefits from a tough pre-season. Three 8-0 wins over some Sri-Lankan team really isn't as positive as it seems, I'd recommend some Italian clubs like Juventus and Roma, they tend to only play half their first time and won't affect your team morale. :)
