Notts Forrest Tatics

hi guys im looking for quite an offensive attacking tatic to work well for my nottingham forrest team i have just been promoted in my 1st season to the premiership but i am constantly changing and tweaking tatics to find a suitable one to get the best out of my team unfortuantly as of yet i have not been able to find one that allows me to play good football whilst scoreing or creating a good number of chances

my major problems are
*retaining possestion
*scoreing goals
* conceding too easily

i will show you guys my team but how is the easiest way to do this for you to see as i am very new to the forum

well how much do u change ur tactic?. and have u build up a few tactics in the pre-season for your team to get used to?

it helps to improve a tactic when your team is used to one already. most help you can get is by knowing what type of players you got.

but everyone wants to do what u want to do with your team.

slow tempo and short passing is good for retaining possession. BUT if you don't have good amount of creative players and good composure then you will probably not gain anything by possession.

people think keeping possession means scoring goals etc.

for a worse team its often better to find another route a bit more direct style maybe, some even very long and quick.

for defense you need to make sure you see how your defense is leaking, if the offside traps arent working and they keep going through the middle then play without outside make 1 defender close down less so he keeps himself low for an example. play with more defensive fullbacks maybe. or put a DM to help out.
